What's Recess?
From the team behind Spoke Art and Hashimoto Contemporary comes Recess, a new curatorial project in San Francisco. Featuring rotating monthly exhibitions with a focus on producing unique, artist-designed products in a re-envisioned retail space.
January 2020 - MC Marquis
February 2020 - Casey Weldon
March 2020- Matt and Miles Ritchie
What about Spoke?
Much like our other projects (Hashimoto Contemporary, the People's Printshop, and Paragon Books), Recess is simply an extension of the Spoke Art family so expect the same great curation, affordable art and familiar faces you've come to know these past 10 years.
Spoke Art will be busy hitting the road again this year, so keep an eye out for our upcoming tour schedule in Hawai'i, Los Angeles, New York City and beyond.
February 11-16 - Moleskine Project - Honolulu, HI
April 10-12 - WonderCon - Anaheim, CA
April 16-19 - Miyazaki art show & book release - New York, NY
See you on the road, or at Recess!
