This Saturday in SF: Peter Adamyan's "Maiming the West"
Peter Adamyan's "Camouflage Genocide"
SPOKE ART is pleased to present Maiming the West, a solo pop-up exhibition by Oakland-based artist Peter Adamyan. The latest body of work is inspired by the wild lands of the western United States and the exploitation of its land and people.
Peter Adamyan's "The Rancher"
The multi-disciplinary artist tells “the story of manifest destiny in post civil war America and the failures of reconstruction in the south. Exploring the way in which loggers, miners, railroad workers, farmers, ranchers and tycoons "tamed" the land in an effort to profit from it, leaving destruction, genocide and extinction in their wake.”
Peter Adamyan's "Buffalo"
Please join us for Maiming the West, Saturday, June 29, with an opening night reception from 6pm - 9pm where the artist will be present. This pop-up exhibition will be on view through Saturday, July 6th. To receive the advance show preview, please email us at SF@spoke-art.com.
