Coming Soon - "Winter is Here" - an art show tribute!
Spoke Art is pleased to present Winter is Here, an art show in tribute to “Game of Thrones.” Inspired by the series that captured us all, the exhibition features an array of original paintings, sculpture, embroidery and limited edition prints from artists around the world.
Over 70 artists were invited to participate, resulting in a dazzling display of character portraits, elaborate environments and iconic themes and motifs from the series. Captivating audiences around the world for the past eight years, the series has been wildly successful and has subsequently helped to bring the fantasy genre into homes across the globe.
With a painstaking amount of detail shown in the world of Westeros our artists were able to find an abundance of inspiration. Game of Thrones has not only created a fictitious setting but has constructed an entire culture from start to finish. This amount of detail and vastness allows for a bountiful plethora of subject matter for each artist to chose from. The series revels in the complex story lines and epic narratives, culminating in a beautifully woven saga of fate and human triumph.
Opening night reception : Saturday, April 6th from 6pm-9pm.
On view: Sunday, April 7th from 10am to 6pm.
Online release: Thursday, April 11th at 10am PST.
