This Thursday: New Miyazaki Artwork and Book Restock
Spoke Art is happy to share new Miyazaki inspired releases from artists Germain Barthélémy, Brighton Ballard and Van Orton Design available this Thursday at 10am PT on spoke-art.com.
Based in France, Germain Barthélémy has created an absolutely fantastic new screen print (shown above) for "Grave of the Fireflies" featuring glow-in-the-dark inks! Printed by the awesome folks at VGKids, we can't tell you enough about how gorgeous this print is in person. Limited to an edition of 100, measuring 24" x 36" these prints will be $75 each.
From Brighton Ballard, we have awesome two color risograph printed tarot cards, inspired by "Spirited Away" - one of our favorite Miyazaki films. Each set contains 6 cards measuring 3" x 5.5" packaged in a black envelope with a metallic gold soy ink emblem on the front, available for $35.
Twin brothers and awesome artists, Van Orton Design joins the release with a new take on "Princess Mononoke" a film that inspires us all while celebrating the strength and resiliency of women fighting for a better world. This 18" x 24" archival pigment print is limited to an edition of 100 and priced at $40 each.
If that weren't enough, we've also restocked our My Neighbor Hayao Book featuring artwork from all of our Miyazaki inspired exhibitions we've had over the years. Pick one up and explore the worlds and characters Hayao Miyazaki created as seen through the eyes of over 250 Spoke Art artists from around the globe.
