This weekend: Rich Pellegrino's Michael Jordan Timed Release
Spoke Art is excited to announce our newest release with artist Rich Pellegrino. Easily one of the most recognizable human beings to ever exist, Rich's print honors none other than the G.O.A.T., Michael Jordan. If you watched basketball in the 80s and 90s (and a little in the 00s), there wasn't another player that compared to his dominance. Pick a favorite moment: NCAA Championship, the 'Flu Game,' flying from the free throw line to dunk, 6 NBA Championships, 'The Shot,' the final shot of his career to win the 1998 Championship, or maybe all that pales in comparison to one of the greatest movies ever made, "Space Jam." Even decades after his retirement, No. 23 continues to be considered the greatest to ever play.
Artist Rich Pellegrino in his signature style, has captured the excitement of watching Jordan sail through the air on his way to the rim while other giants from the NBA look on. These featured players include: Charles "Sir Charles" Barkley, Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Karl "The Mailman" Malone, and Patrick Ewing.
"Jumpman Takes Flight" will be available for 72 hours starting this Friday, June 26th at 10am Pacific and ending Monday, June 29th at 10am Pacific on spoke-art.com. There will be three versions of the print available; the regular timed edition will come signed & numbered and two remarque versions (final edition sizes determined by number sold). Each archival pigment print is made on watercolor paper and measures 17" x 22".
The remarque edition options include a hand-painted random object (Jordan sneakers, trophy, basketball, etc) with a second remarque option from Rich that will be a hand-painted Michael Jordan portrait. Please allow four weeks for the regular edition and up to six weeks for the remarque editions to ship.
