Spoke Art's Year in Review 2025
Looking back as we leave this year behind us, we can't help but feel thankful for all of artists and collectors that have continued to be one of the most supportive communities out there! This year has certainly been a difficult one for so many and if you're like us, you've been ready to give 2026 a shot since February, but we are cautiously hopeful that this coming year will bring more art and less of the other stuff.
Though we didn't get to visit as many of you as we'd like this year, we look forward to hitting the road more regularly in '26 with additional conventions, film screenings, pop-ups and exhibitions! It's always humbling to have visitors let us know they've come to an event we're at just to visit us. One of our favorite things about doing all of this is getting to spend time with all of you; talking about art, grails we missed, drops that stressed us out, collection updates, life milestones, dream releases, "how come you haven't done this" conversations and everything in-between! Thank you for making it possible for us to continue to bring artwork to you the way it is meant to be experienced.
Before we officially enter 2026 we wanted to take a moment to reflect on a few of this year's memorable print releases. From The Office to Speed Racer we tried our best to celebrate each of these beloved pop culture icons with prints from artists all around the world. Check out the list below and send us a photo of your favorite Spoke Art release from the past year in your home to info@spoke-art.com or @spoke_art for a chance to win a print of your choosing in the year ahead!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for another incredible of art! We may say it every year, and we mean it just as much as the first time, we couldn't do any of this without all the fantastic artists that trust us with their creations, time and talent, we love you all. And to all our collectors, we were able to celebrate our 15th anniversary this year because of your support, we love you all, too!
Cheers to you, 2026 and another 15 years of pop culture artwork!!
Thank you,
Spoke Art

Scott C. (@scottlava)
Gathering Around Steven
"One of my favorite pieces from one of my favorite series to ever exist. Scott C. has a way of capturing and instantly endearing his illustrations to the audience in a way that always leaves me excited to see what will come next. Though we guess we should give him a little bit of a break to start 2026 considering his incredible 10 year retrospective, THE BIG SHOW, took place this summer...guess we'll do it all over again in 2035!"

Max Dalton (@maxdaltonillustration_)
The VVitch
"With incredible patience and dedication to his craft, Max continues to expand his already impressive repertoire of skills with wood carving, a technique he practiced in order to produce the artwork for this period appropriate limited edition. Visit the latest news section on his site to see more behind-the-scenes photos and learn more about the process."

Dakota Randall (@dakotarandallart)
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team
"Dakota continues to be an artist that wants to grow and push himself with each print he creates. Combining that with his almost unconditional love of the Gundam universe, brought his first horizontal composition into our lives this year and we've been staring at it ever since. Our agreement is a Gundam print then a movie poster before another Gundam but he may have gotten away with a couple back-to-back releases...though who are we to object when he creates this?"

Matt Taylor (@matttaylordraws)
Wolf Like Me
"Any time we can get Matt Taylor on our schedule we're excited, often having to pick certain projects over others due to timing or other situations. When we casual mentioned how much we'd been wanting to do a print for Collateral, Matt jumped at it and we got out of the way as quickly as possible so he could get to work on it. The green and blues against the orange and yellow with a coyote in the foreground, beautiful and very much a possibility to experience this while driving around the city in the early morning. A true love letter to Los Angeles."

Bruce Yan (@mrbruceyan)
OCP Police 01
"I'd buy that for $10 to $20...or however the quote goes. Bruce brings one of the best in film infomercials to life with his Robocop inspired token that had us quoting Bixby Snyder far too often this summer. One of our hopes for 2026 is more artwork and collectibles from Bruce! Imagine if we could replace all currency with Yan's tokens..."

Sarah Sumeray (@thisisfunart)
Good Practical Joke, Jim!
"Sarah is one of those artists we've been working with for years but have never had the chance to meet in-person which is an absolute shame because we know she'd be one of our favorite people ever. With her retro inspired art and ability to find the humor in almost anything, Sarah has created unforgettable portraits and prints that are still collector favorites years after the initial releases. We know we aren't the only ones that hear Michael Scott screaming "NOOOO!!!" at Toby in her SDCC release inspired by everyone's favorite boss (and Human Resources Representative)."

Ian Glaubinger (@hasunow)
Martian Phrenology
"Ian has been showing with Spoke Art since the beginning with nostalgic Americana injected pop culture artwork with prints, originals, tiki totes and more. His take on one of our favorite sci-fi/country western/invasion/war/disaster/comedy movies every...Mars Attacks! was an instant classic for us. Perfect to hang in your home while enjoying your favorite tiki drink! If you like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tiki culture, 80s movies, 90s cartoons and Pizza Hut, we know you'll love Ian's art, and him."

Neil Davies (@neildaviesillustration1)
With the things you could do, you won't but you might
"We were incredibly lucky to get to collaborate with Neil more in 2025 than every before and the resulting releases were some of our favorites. When we decided to head to Mass Mini Con, a poster for Good Will Hunting was one of the first things that came to mind, second was Neil. We had different ideas and approaches, he was right; we helped with some details and listened to lots of Elliott Smith before taking it to Boston where it received high praise from the locals.
Dave Perillo (@montygog)
Righteous.
"There'd be no shortage of things to say we love about our good buddy and pillar of the pop culture art community, Dave Perillo, and if you've been collecting for any number of days, months or years; you know his art. Even though he has been making movie poster goodness for well over a decade and a half, Dave continues to be one of the nicest and most genuine people we have the pleasure of knowing. So of course, we thought of him first to bless the world with a print for one of our favorite shows, The Righteous Gemstones. We know Uncle Baby Billy and Teenjus would love it."

Brighton Ballard (@neuergeist)
Dale Cooper & Laura Palmer Paper Dolls
"If everyone had a sense of humor like Brighton, we're pretty sure the world would be a better place. Any time we get the chance to work together we never know what to expect but we trust it will be an imaginative creation and a with a vision always true to herself. Paper dolls, tarot cards, prints, we can't wait to see what inspires her next awesome series!"

Jason Raish (@jasonraish)
Mudang Demon Hunters
"We could go on and on about how special it is to work together with Jason but the honest truth is, he is talented, thoughtful, intelligent, humble, supportive and always willing to educate and share. The time and effort he invests into his artwork is tangible but to fully appreciate his gift is to learn the inspiration behind his motivation. Please take a few minutes out of your day and read the personal and cultural significance behind Mudang Demon Hunters on Jason's Instagram feed here."

Lyndon Willoughby (@willowstration)
Speed Racer
"Speed Racer had been a film we wanted to tackle for years, after many attempts that didn't work out for one reason or another, one fateful email with Lyndon changed it all. We always strive to find the right connection when pitching projects and our shared passion for this CLASSIC was obvious from the start. As we itched toward the finish line, surprise!, our buddies at Mutant hosted an awesome screening at Mass Mini Con for the film with killer accompanying screen print from our friend Matt Taylor. It's always nice to know your buddies have great taste, too! Pulling it was considered but robbing the universe of Lyndon's poignant and emotionally charged composition weighed far heavier than pushing the release to NYCC. You're welcome 😉."
Thank you again to everyone that made this year the best it could possibly be, we appreciate all your support more than we can express!
🍾Be safe and have a great night as we welcome 2026🍾
