SEPTEMBER 2017 #200
We are doing dual celebration for the September 2017 issue of Juxtapoz Magazine: it happens to be our 200th ISSUE (!) and the issue where we preview new works by Mr Obey Giant, Shepard Fairey. Shepard and Juxtapoz have a long history together, histories that both began in the 1990s. We have been so happy to see Shepard's career blossom and grow to being one of the most important voices in contemporary art, and we are pleased to have him create the cover for our own special milestone.
Also in the 200th issue:
—We talk to Ralph Steadman about his career as a special retrospective is set to come to America
—Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and Boneface talk art, music and Villains
—We take a look at Dan Lam's otherworldly sculpture work and den of drips
—Add Fuel reinvents the Portuguese tile
—Caleb Weintraub and Sandow Birk talk painting, spanning centuries and species
—Bonethrower gives the lowdown on his new collab with adidas and making a style all his own
—Tabitha Soren goes deep into the Fantasy Life
—Norwegian master Edvard Munch comes to the Bay
—Martyn Reed talks about Street Art of yesterday and today
.... and we talk to Kozyndan about the Bunny Primitive....
